I have seen a few of his other APs which are indeed real but this black themes just isn't. Maybe it was swapped during a hand around, or anything like that. I never accused anyone of knowingly wearing a fake. ;)

Without going into too many details, there are numerous "tells." How about the Date FONT?

It looks totally legit to me, what are the so called tells? By the way AP have components made in batches so there are inconsistencies in fonts this is particularly relevant to the case backs and the way 'Offshore' is written, sometimes the 'O' looks like an 'Oakley' font other times not. Sometimes the 'S' looks like a 'Superman' S other times it looks like a trainee engraved it. All these examples are on genuine watches.

I know about Genuine batch variation examples. I'm also well aware of the tells - but I'm not going to say them all.

He should take it to an AP store to have it inspected ;)
