I'm not looking to flip, so essentially MSRP + tax was perfect for me since they are hard to come by out of the coffin. Super happy, wears wonderfully, and it will eventually make it to my kids |

That one on moda is watch only and shows wear. The 116520 David has is a better buy for my tastes.

I'd put in offers @ $25K if I were you (provided you're comfortable to purchase at that amount,) just bid and see how it goes (also-- don't be surprised if it works out, and you have a deal.)

To each his own but I don’t think the black dial Daytona is worth $25K. Heck, I wouldn’t pay over $20K for either the black or white. After waiting 2+ years for a white dial, my lust for a Daytona has diminished a bit. Now I feel that it’d be great to get one close to MSRP but if not, then so be it. I ain’t paying that much over MSRP.

A fair point. I’ve been waiting for more than a year to secure the most basic of Rolex models and no luck. I’ve even spent on some jewelry for the Mrs. I’ve already gone gray on a GmT. I figure I’d get laughed out of the store to be on the list for a Daytona. Hence why I’m seeing the market change and wondering if now is the time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I assume you mean 116500LN? If so, $25k is too much. They're currently sitting at $24k and dropping. Do not pay that much for a daytona unless it's made of gold.

Yes correct, apologies. I was hoping to find a NIB, no luck finding anything under 26k. Where are you seeing 24k? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No one should be buying now. Market will get only softer and softer for the next 12 months

That’s like saying don’t buy the iPhone 15 cos it’ll drop in a year. Well of course it will. These things are meant to be worth more than rrp anyway. Buy what you want when you want and don’t be afraid to negotiate

Moda. If you really have your heart set on a 116500, my strong suggestion would be to wait. Although this model is technically superseded, the 12 series haven't really hit the streets yet. Once they do, the 11 series will continue to drop, and hard. Have a look at the 11 series Subs for reference. The hype dogs don't like an old model.

There seems to have been a pretty significant price drop across the board over the last week.
