Would have preferred if they kept the smoked YG dial for the Jumbo (and if they allocated one to me).

I love this original dial and entire original watch. I can’t wait to see this new version in the flesh. I bet it’s amazing I’m gonna have to go with I like the gem set with the baguettes hour markers better since this is already a BANG POW Watch might as well add the bling bling |

I realize this is a thread for new releases, but recently several cool pieces have also been discontinued and moved to the legacy section.
Namely, RG QP Code, SS QP RO, RG Jumbo and this week the Starwheel. |

The QP's were a little slow to move as they have been gone for most of this year, but the other two are newer updates (to me at least). Curious to see if the other PM jumbos (WG?) are discontinued to make way for new versions next year

I believe some of the starwheel watches went to people that had bought multiple CODEs and were likely newer to AP. Would hate for that group to get burned right off the bat before moving into the RO collection. |

That’s quite the tin foil theory… In reality, Resta has said the code will move towards SS, RG, YG and much less WG due to its similarity with SS. There are also multiple people who have stated RG Starwheel is about to be released |

Where do you see the Starwheel being discontinued? In Europe I don’t see it in the legacy collection? |

In Europe, there also isn’t a picture. But the watch doesn’t appear in the “legacy-section” on the site, like the SS QP does. I wouldn’t mind if it did, owning both the QP and the WG SW. Not in terms of value, but I think it’s always nice if there are not too many watches like mine around😊 |

Just an FYI, the pic of my starwheel was always blank under my collection on the website. I don’t think the absence of the photo would confirm it’s being discontinued. |

From what I heard, SW is not a limited edition timepiece but limited production. Rumours, since it was just launched and still commanding a decent premium, are the numbers planned is about 500 pcs.

Interesting that they discontinued the RG Jumbo and RG QP Code, and kept the WG versions of both. Albeit in both cases, the RG were released earlier than the WG.

All QPs were discontinued earlier this year, except the JM, because the new QP is coming. I haven’t figured out why some stick around on the website well after they are discontinued and why some move off quickly like the RG jumbo.

Speaking of QP. First gold and just second non ceramic openwork 41mm QP ever produced. Considering popularity of 39mm qp openwork models it is a bit strange that whole run of 41mm qp pieces had just 2 unique openwork pieces in metal(not counting the whole iced one) ...
