Yours a beauty! Got to love the super glossy gilt dials.

Yeah, seems common these often fade to orange and the slightly later ones which came with the first matte dials often fade to purple. I really like this warm look.

Thanks - yes, I love the deep gloss lacquer, with the creamy, puffy plots!
I agree, the warmth is very appealing. Something you only get with vintage.
I also love the variety of fades on the inserts. The fuchsia ones are also awesome, I'd like one of those, too! I got this super-fat-font for mine a few months ago, and love it also:
