My watches are refusing to be photographed near the NY Giants logo.

I just picked it up Saturday along with a few others. Waiting on a SLA041 but the longer I wait the more doubt I have. We will see.

Ha...sounds like a losing battle to me! That gent is quite the Seiko aficionado. Though I did seek his counsel on how the monobloc case sits on the wrist before picking up the 039.

Pretty comfortable and the color on these watches is amazing, as is the finishing. I may chase the 037 down at some point.

So how does it sit. It looks great to me too but I’m thinking a thick beast. Or as on others in the lineup, does it wear better than specs

It’s definitely thick (~15.4mm) and the caseback is as flat as it gets. It’s also a fairly heavy block of steel. I think it does wear better than the specs might otherwise indicate and I find it comfortable overall.

If it was a MM or two smaller in both diameter (44.8mm) and thickness, it would likely become one of my favorites very quickly (but would cease to be a faithful recreation, or whatever). The lug-to-lug is ~51.4 and I do like the watch as it stands.

Nice. Probably too big for my chicken wrist. You may find the 037 amazing.

Mine’s a shade over 7 and this guy is at the outer edge of my preferred limits.

I’d definitely try it on, if only for the experience...it’s different than anything else I’ve owned thanks to the case shape and style.

I’m trying to find the 037 next for sure.

Wow

I saw that on their website and advertising. You must post multiple close up pics to do it justice. How many were made?

Lots of achievement packed into that movement for it's time that only a WIS would appreciate
