How big are your wrists? I’m debating whether to go 36 or 40 for the YG DD (7” wrist).

With a 7 inch wrist you can swing either way.

If you want a sportier watch, then go 40mm but if you want a more elegant watch go 36mm. The original intention and design of the Day-Date works much better in the 36mm size but I understand some people cannot stand smaller watches. The 36mm Day-Date has more presence than any 36mm watch you can imagine so keep that in-mind.

Also, you'll save quite a bit going 36mm. You'll be surprised at how fast your eyes adjust to the 36mm size and it will look normal on wrist.

+1 I couldn't agree more with this!

My wrist is around 6.2-3 inches so small indeed. I definitely wouldn't want to go bigger in this particular watch although have worn plenty of 40mm in SS.

Considering the watch shows the day and date, I never once think the dial is too small or cramp to show this information - it's all very balanced.

Thanks everyone again for the positive comments!!

I don't mind you asking :) - a good condition one with sharp edges, crisp bezel and minimal stretch you are looking at around £10k for a full set - probably more maybe.

Like any 5 digit watches - condition i think is more important then maybe even full set.

Thanks All again.

Congrats! Looks like it is in great condition! I love the brushed finish on the op of the lugs on these earlier models.

Thanks. My WG DD is 40 and since I got it I haven’t hardly worn any other watch. Sometimes I think the proportions are just perfect.

I do have an old Omega Chronostop 36 and quickly get used to the size (kind of).

Looks like I’ll trade the BLNR for a YG DD36 to have some variety in size.

Curious if there are may Platinum Day Date owners out there? Don’t see many on here.
