You're of course looking at entirely different price points when talking about the DD and Lange. In your position I'd look to add the DD and then t Lange in the secondary/used market. Though, as I'm not big into the gold watches, I wonder if you have considered some other excellent Lange options within the same price point as the DD? You're into Lange 1 and approaching Saxonia Annual Calendar range with that budget and with those two we are talking seriously special watches.

DD40 and either BLNR or BLRO would be my choice
