My humble advice: if it doesn't have stickers still then wear it and enjoy.

I will have to agree with everyone here, wear it and enjoy it. I just purchased a M serial LV from a good friend, he wore it and I plan to wear it also. The good thing is I do not have to worry about putting the first scratch on it.

I'd absolutely wear it! I have one and I make it a point to keep in the rotation.
While I hope it has appreciate it to more than paid for. I don't understand the "safe queen" logic. I say life it's too short to put things off for another day. Wear it and enjoy it.

Also, remember that's the asking price. the actual transacted price will always surprise you. I'd wear it.

Well, I recently got my hands on a "true anniversary" model from 2003, still stickered and completely unworn. When it arrived, the plastic was off in a nanosecond and it was on my wrist immediately.

Just saying... and that was (in theory, at least) an investment piece.

Congrats That's the way to do it.

Hope you enjoy your LV as much as I do mine.

Wear it, enjoy it and if one day you sell it and make money, it's a bonus.

What do you mean the true anniversary model all LVs are the same except for some very very minor font details, and slight colour insert variations and case stamps.

I have a 2006 LV and I have worn it just about every day for the last six years, no point in buying other wise.

When I bought mine it was for my 50th, which for many reasons I didn't think I'd get to see....

It was the first brand new rolex I'd ever bought, and it was bought to wear. The value is of no interest whatsoever, as it'll never get sold.... It'll get handed to my best friends son...

In the meantime, I wear it in rotation, but it doesn't get babied...

I love the LV and I would wear it...I got a random serial LV BNIB last January and have worn it alternating with the new Expy, then with the SS Daytona, then with the DSSD....now it's on 24/7!!

Its a great watch and it won't hurt the value to continue wearing it...IF it had been a safe queen you may get an extra 10% on the value in 10years, but not more IMHO.

Made to be worn...period!

I would wear it but I'd be careful not to abuse it.

Yes, I agree with you 100%. The fact remains, though, that amongst those who specifically collect the LV the 2003's are the ones to have. And they're often kept, unworn and stickered, as investments. (Indeed, I know quite a few people who've done just that but the point I was making was that I didn't want to be one of them.)

Wear it, keep it insured and enjoy it. And then in 10-20 years if you wanna sell it you'll have gotten lots of wear out of it and still profit from it.

IMO - you can't really afford it, if you bought a watch, then afraid to wear it because you think it'd get damaged and reduces it resale value...

I say wear it or sell it and invest the money in something else
