I just called Seattle, WA Service Center for the price of a service on my titanium Seamaster and they qouted me $480, which seemed a little pricey since I had my Rolex serviced for $600.

Does Omega have the same policy as Rolex? Will they replace parts and keep them or can you ask them to leave it original?

They give you back everything they take off and replace - just like they ought to.

Frosty - they have a service price list based on the movement complexity and age of the watch. They also have 2 basic stages of service - clean, seal and regulate - or, full service with complete refinish.

I asked for a full service for an Omega Titanium Seamaster. She said it would start at $485 (I called back to make sure of the price). I asked her if that included a new mainspring, which I was told at the RSC was replaced in their service. The lady at Omega told me they only replaced it if it was needed.

I like Omega, but, I definitely have a hard time paying $485 for a service, where for $115 more I could have a Rolex serviced.

Why? Is there not just as much labor involved servicing an Omega vs a Rolex? Parts too? And with Omega you get the old parts returned. Rolex doesn't.

Well… I’ve just got my SMP (2532.80) from Tourneau service in NYC (57 and Madison). It took me two months and $480.00 to get my SMP in brand new condition. The reason I used Tourneau service is simple, 13 years ago I got my SMP there. That time we don’t have any Omega store in NYC c;)

I dropped my Speedy Day-Date (3222.80) for partial service (the crown was hard to wind, almost jammed) at the Omega Boutique in Tysons, VA and picked it back up yesterday. I believe the watch was sent to Secaucus for service. I was extremely pleased by the boutique folks in that they kept me informed of the status and the timeline. I got the watch back in a red Omega case (much like an eyeglass case) along with the parts that they had replaced (various crowns, springs and the like).

This I can't agree. Service is a service and each company sets a set price to do work dependent on model and complication. A Rolex is no harder to service than an Omega unless parts replacement is required. Maybe if you found a great independent watchmaker then that could be a viable option and you can discuss pricing privately to your liking.

No, it is just simple economics for me. I spend $485 for a service for a watch that I might be able to sell for $1,500. I spend $600 for a service on a watch that would be worth $5,000+. jmho

Omega has actual sale boutiques here in the US, do they have actual Omega repair centers or are they subbed out to other service centers.

I would not go to the swiss watch service center at 60 east 42nd st.didnt know what I was doing took watch there was charged 200 ,turns out there was nothing wrong with it,this was about 20 years ago............never been back

I called the Culver City service center and the phone number is disconnected. The 800 number directs me to the NJ service center. Is Culver City closed? I need to send my Speedmaster in for repair, but I haven't heard good things about NJ.

Can someone recommend an authorized center that can do a primo job on a refinish/repair?

I was there the first week of December and had my Seamaster Quartz in for a battery and a pressure test. If they had been closed there was no sign of it then.

Have had bad experiences with Swatch repairing my Speedy moon watch in Florida, watch runs for 3-5 hours after a full wind and then quits. It's on it's way back for the THIRD time as of today....

If you want to get your Omega serviced, I would recommend Official Time Watch out of Utah. They only service Rolex and Omegas, have 40 years of experience and they are truly " top notch." Turn around time is very quick and they are reasonable. They serviced my Rolex and it looked showroom new upon arrival. Good luck.

The only service center I would use for both my Rolex and Omega watches is Official Time Watch out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Leo the owner is simply outstanding. 3 week turn around from the time they receive your watch. Extremely reasonable in comparison to an RSC or OSC, 40yrs experience. Plus they only service Rolex and Omega. They can be found at

I know this an old thread but thought I would share another data point.

I used Nesbit for my Bond SMP in 2017. Their service price was the same as bringing to an Omega AD. I used Nesbit since the nearest AD was 20-30 miles away and I didn’t have the time to visit them twice to drop off and pickup. I did have to pay for shipping, but return shipping was covered by them. Turnaround time was about 6 weeks.

One advantage is that they do offer a 2.5 year warranty. I utilized it this year to get the watch regulated as it was running slow out of COSC specs.

I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I just visited my Omega Ad at South Coast Plaza Mall to check on service pricing for my 1997 Bond SMP with minute hand replacement, I was quoted $550.00. Definitely cheaper 10 years ago....lol
