My favourite chronograph is the 321. In my mind it’s the perfect iteration of what a chrono should be. Manual wind, historically significant, technical/functional aesthetics. My favourite diver is the Rolex Submariner. A legend, iconic design, arguably the best diver invented. My favourite GMT, the Rolex BLRO. Beautiful modern reproduction of a classic, simple 24 hour / travel operation, straddles the line between dress and casual (for me). |

Congrats! You will love it. I need to wear mine more. It’s accurate too +3 per day overall. The crown is so smooth too when turning it. I can see why everyone out there loves theirs. I had to go grey w this one. You won’t regret it :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Congrats on the acquisition! I am very intrigued by the EW.
A bit off topic and potentially controversial, what are thoughts on EW321 vs. 50th Snoopy? I honestly haven't checked prices on the Snoopy lately. |

321 in a heartbeat over a 50th Snoopy. If given the choice one over the other.

I owned both (briefly ) … I agree with @Onequik135i for me the 321 is the better watch. Don’t get me wrong, the Snoopy is a beautiful reference, but for me the legibility was horrible and I moved it on rather quickly. I know to some legibility isn’t a big deal but to me it is. Close your eyes … now open them quickly … what time is it It’s even worse when the hour hand and minute hand are above the sub dials … Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've always loved the legibility of the Speedy. So easy to read. It was one of my go to watches when I would run discussion groups and had to adhere to a timed agenda. Maybe it's time to free Snoopy and put the proceeds towards an Ed White. I'll probably take it on the chin with that transaction!

Congratulations, Nash! As Brian stated, this is for those enthusiasts passionate about the history of the Speedmaster, the Calibre 321, and space exploration. I personally don't have the knowledge or confidence to collect vintage pieces. With this re-edition, I feel like I'm owning a piece of history. Congratulations again and welcome to the club!

My personal favorite among the moon speedmasters but as the others have already explained, you need to understand it and determine if it's right for you. Since you've decided to pass, I suggest you give the current 1861 or 3861 versions a look.

Made me feel like I was a flipper. Glad after all these years someone agrees with me. It’s an unreadable watch, especially in lower light. |

Funny thing is … I remember your post about that and I still bought one thinking … how bad can it be? You were right as far as I’m concerned. I do love the watch, I just wish I could read the time. Low light was especially bad. The 321 on the other hand is one of the most legible watches I’ve ever owned Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Omega 321 Ed White
Yesterday I tried to remove a link but I desisted, I thought it was like Rolex but has two tiny screws on each side…..looked quite sophisticated

Take it to your AD/omega boutique for fitting.

It's really quite straightforward. Just ensure the internal pin is properly seated before securing the screws. If the screws wont seat properly, don't force them.... it means the internal pin isn't seated properly.
