Sexy, congrats. I don't understand the Quartz reference, for rarity?

That was my guess many hours after writing that, thank you for clarifying.

Thanks all.
I thought too that these were worth sharing as there are not many good quality images of either model. Both being rather rare. I agree that both dials work perfectly with the choice of precious metal for each. Agree too that the use of diamonds is very subtle. I do not normally like diamonds on my watches, but these work perfectly and pass for normal indices unless you look closely. There is also a certain logic to using stone indices on a stone dial :) Smooth bezel and the very white lustre of platinum actually enhances the meteorite dial, bringing it more to attention. I will take more pics as requested. As to which I prefer, it's too early to say, as I only just got the Eisenkiesel, but have had the Meteorite one for a little while (and absolutely adore it). |

Thanks all :)
Interesting how the two watches have divided a few opinions, with some loving one but not the other. For me, the two watches are like chalk and cheese, despite being ostensibly the same model. So I feel ok with owning both :) |

Thank you. It's absolutely stunning. Will reserve judgement until I see it in the flesh but will ask my AD for one. From pictures alone this is the best DD I have ever seen. Thanks again and wear in good health my friend.

The Eisenkiesel dial is amazing. The DD40 YG needs a special dial like this.

The diamond baguette indices also have a lot of sparkle due to the dark stone dial, and the darker rose gold works to enhance them too. |
