I purchased this PM in February from my AD. I love it so much that I am now more interested in PM watches vs. SS.

I have one WG Daytona, but I haven’t worn it for years. I much prefer SS.

No. All of my watches instantly switch from AM to PM at noon. I make sure of that by only buying watches with the AM/PM indicator. You have to pay more for that complication.

I used to own this reference but sold it earlier this year. Big mistake I miss it dearly

Nope. Seems like a poor material choice for a watch, but I think it comes down to whether or not you consider watches jewelry. I’ve decided that I don’t. Jewelry is ornamentation. Ornamentation can be made of pretty things like gold, but my watch is a tool to tell time, the date, etc..

No; I agree with @L S SHOE. I'd look silly wearing PM, but might make an exception for WG 126719BLRO Meteorite.

Then why spend the $ on something like a Rolex? I am sure you could lean towards an interest in horology or better timekeeping. But if simply a tool to tell time I am sure there are cheaper options. Sure we spend $ on better tools in our day to day lives but perhaps not with a price difference of a Rolex vs. a casio.

Anyway, like you said definitely a personal preference and respect your viewpoint!

Cheers

Why is it a poor metal choice? I wear my 18k sub as my true do anything beater. It’s actually held up better so far than my DeepSea JC. Rolex are tool watches and up for the job no matter the material.

Let me know lol. Acquired during the covid craze.

Had this twisted idea that I would get each precious mtl for a gmt, sub, and daytona.

I've only worn my wht gold Pepsi and my yellow gold zenith daytona. All the rest have never left the bank.
