Appreciate it - the journey couldn’t have happened without the demand for Rolex. Never lost a penny and got to own amazing watches.

I actually don’t travel as much as I should, but I do have colleagues in different time zones and the GMT hand will come in handy. Enjoy your BLNR!
I agree I love the PCLs and I'm going to try and buy the jubliee separately so I have basically two watches.

At least you have an idea of where you want to go next watch wise - I'm totally clueless! I feel like I climbed Everest, what else is there?

I am not sure either, but over the last year I only had one watch. This one checks a ton of boxes, so hopefully can wait at least a year until I add another.

Congrats!

It does sound like you might need about 3 watches to rotate instead of constantly trading - use some forum influence and man maths - it’ll be cheaper in the long run!

Thanks - 3 is the key number for me, I just can’t figure out which 3. It will help just to get the Daytona out of my head and add from here.

Thank you! Great collection you have. I was thinking about the white dial speedmaster, but omega left the Pittsburgh market.

I flirted with the idea of a Exp 1 but in person it just didn't sizzle like I wanted. One thing I've learned about myself is I need a watch that reflects the light.

Hence the Pepsi has entered the mindshare.

Can’t go wrong with Pepsi. You know which watch shines so much it glows? Look at the datejust 41 fluted with jubilee, azzurro roman. Beautiful watch. I even like it with smooth and oyster as well.

Say hi to Debbie at Henne from me (Mark). I hope she might help you get the black Daytona.

This is the lone Datejust I would buy. Something about romans. I have an old 36 DJ that I wear (even with 8 1/4” wrists) and it, too, has romans. Man, that azuro is a pretty watch.

Wow! Amazing turn of events. Congrats on the new piece. It looks great. I had one when it first came out and at the time thought it was the nicest looking watch that Rolex made, well that was until they rolled out the new Pepsi and you know how that goes. Enjoy and good luck with it.

I don't understand0 - you had 2/3 of your perfect 3 watch collection and instead of going after #3, decided to sell both and have 0/3 of your perfect collection

Good question. I had 2/3 with no chance at the final 1/3. I decided if I can’t get my collection goals, I would try to be a one watch person. I thought the black sub date made the most sense at the time. Fast forward to yesterday, I got the BLNR back. I could add the SubLV again at some point, not as hard to get. But I might go a different collection route now knowing the Daytona isn’t an option. But through all of this, the BLNR was the one I had to have.

That’s an amazing story, I’m slightly exhausted and kind of jealous at the same time. Hope the BLNR sticks, it is a great piece, I’m currently waiting on one on jubilee also!

It sounds like a little bit of a tantrum after realizing he couldn’t get a Daytona. I’m glad he’s gotten to a place he’s happy with again.

The forum this, the forum that... I'm sure the forum really had you up against the wall with its hand round your throat, telling you to keep buying and selling those Rolex!

Serious question, do you handle other areas of your life like this? Relationships, cars, houses? If the answer is yes, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, you may need to have a chat with a professional, if only for your own long term wellbeing!

Congratulations on the new watch.
