Too much of a TPG vibe. I would not recommend this.

Another cracker.
This is a weird "flex" fo' sho'.

(That's what the kids say these days, right?)

Sure, wear one that you've bought there before...but all of them?

Sorry, but no one is going to arrange personal security and an armored truck just to go look at watches.

The relationship posture with dealers is almost beyond my comprehension.

If I wanted a new girlfriend or wife I wouldn’t take past wives or girlfriends along to try and score extra points.

I couldn’t buy a new Rolex ( or anything ) if I had to work so hard at being both the buyer and the seller.

I show them a photo of it, if they ask. That's more than enough.

I’ve shown my AD a pic of my collection in the case I keep them in at home…often pointing out that there is room for a new one, and I’ll need their assistance to fill the spot. Besides that, just wearing one into the store whenever I stop by.

Fksake The dealer should be engaging people in conversation and beginning the sales process as they look at watches in the window.

I feel like I’ve tripped through a star gate and entered an alternate reality.

Wearing the last piece that you bought from them does show you are not a flipper.

No I would never bring my whole collection to an AD. Customers might just come up to you to try them on lol.

Lol can’t believe nobody has mentioned this yet…perhaps you bring in your collection to allow other customers to actually see Rolexes in the metal. What a novel idea that one could handle watches at an AD;)

Wow, with the amount of stuff we apparently need to take to our ADs to prove our worth, we're going to need a full set of luggage before long.

We already apparently need to take donuts, chocolates, champagne, our passports plus a written bio to get on lists, knee and elbow protectors to grovel our way over the threshold like the dutiful supplicants we are (being careful not to look them in the eye while we chant, "Please allow me to buy, master. Please allow me to buy, master"), perhaps some aromatherapy oil in case an SA needs an impromptu foot massage.... and now our entire watch collections. And all to be allowed to spend tens of thousands of Pounds/Dollars/Euros. Who'd have thought....?

Have we come to the age where we start worshipping ADs and treat them like some higher being of a higher prestige business and as potential customers, we have to impress them in any way we must ...

for a bloody watch?

No. Only the one I'm wearing. OP, are you asking because you do this?

Do you ever take your collection to AD?

Can you just take all the watches only or do you also need?:

My AD sold me a majority of what I already have. So they already know what I got.
