I know a lot of guys who own several iterations of the Sub and want/need more.. personally I would stick with one of the steel pieces and get something else.

Do you plan to leave the watches to your children ? I see no redundancy in collections.

Yeah little redundant since it’s basically a same watch with different colored bezel.

I have a black diver and a little-bit-of-green diver myself. But they are different reference #s

124060 (Son wears it,likes the clean dial)
126610LN
126610LV
116610LN

116610LN worn most.Sits the best on the wrist .

LV is pretty nice ,any coloured bezel with a black dial works in Rolex world .

^ Similar. I have a no date + the LV and find myself using both in different occasions! Generally think the design of the Sub is incredible and i like the color variation

For me, ideally it would be 126610LV and 116600 or 126600. I own 126610LV and 116710 BLNR. And to me these two are similar looking, never mind two Sub41s.

To me, they are redundant especially with so many other options. But you are the one spending the money so you should get what your heart desires.

FWIW and IMHO, if I was personally getting both, I'd probably go for a 5-digit LV and a 6-digit LN to mix it up a bit.

That said, I don't think it's redundant at all if it makes you personally happy.

Redundant

Don't worry whether or not it makes sense, wear what you like.

Yes. One is the real deal and the other an homage. Nothing wrong with that, but its a bit redundant and I can think of many other great watches to spend that coin on than 2 similar watches. I tend to value diversity in a collection and that's not it, but to each their own.

Having both is overlap imo.

Maybe but who cares? my 116610LN is my daily and I wear the 126610LV for variety. I've come to realize I really love the look of the sub. I may even go for the 2 tone if it was offered to me lol
