How's that TT white dial Daytona? I've been thinking long and hard about that one.

I love it. I wanted a Daytona but didn't want to play games for a SS or pay $30K so I paid $20K and got it from my AD in 3 days.

I'm a fan of TT though so it worked for me.

This is the right answer.

Less is more.

Keep the steel sub and move everything else.

Reading like a book... and according to my tastes with no regard if the watch is a good watch or not, just my tastes.

1-3, 7-10, and 12 and 15.

But my taste is also not for a full YG President. I would go WG. So I'm not really the guy to answer this for you, but thanks for asking.

I'd keep the following:

Santos
Gold Speedmaster
Airking

move all the rest

I'd sell me the 50th anniversary Snoopy for MSRP. I get a grail, you get some cash and you also get to feel really good about yourself. :)

This is what I'd do. Maybe one of the AK/Exp 1 if you're short.

I would move overlapping watches, while keeping things YOU like. That seems to include a mix of case materials, brands, and models. In your current collection, what do you wear the most? What do you wear the least? Which ones feel like they would be hardest to let go? Which ones are you equivocal about?

Sell: heritage Seamaster, blue Seamaster, steel GMT, Air King, Datejust, black Speedy, white Speedy.

This leaves you with 2 full gold, 2 TT, 1 titanium, and 4 steel.

The gold Speedy has a display back and a dark dial, while the Snoopy has a light dial and a different case back.

The two TT are different shades of gold.

Although there are no jubilee bracelets, the DD will have the President bracelet which is visually similar.

The two all gold are different shades of gold.

First off, I’d personally wear any watch in your collection and you have nice taste.

Lots of duplicates so I tried to eliminate those. No need for Seamasters once you have a Sub.

I’d still want a Daytona in the collection just a different Daytona Like the (ghost) white gold Oysterflex one.

After adding your DD to the collection maybe add a dressier watch. Something like a Lange 1 or Patek.

Side note, I do love the gold Speedy. I think they look better than most Daytonas.

I would keep the Santos, one of the Explorers, one of the GMTs, the TT DJ, the steel Omega on the right side of the bottom left row.

Man, hope you aren’t regretting asking everyone to tear apart your collection. The PM speedMaster is my favorite watch of the bunch. I’d definitely keep it.

Yeah I agree get rid of the two tone watches.

Not at all. Provides some insight. I’ve been quiet but I’ve read every comment.

Ended up picking up the DD today! Here it is with the Speedy

I’d sell all the TT and you’re probably close to $40k. Sell a sea master(s), air king, explorer if you still need cash to make up the difference.

Very nice collection!

If I were making the decision for myself, I would keep everything on the right and sell everything on the left. Coincidentally that is legitimately my preference; I'm not just saying that for simplicity. But I'm not sure selling all on the left would quite get you there if done entirely through a dealer?

If it were me, I'd part ways with most, if not all, of those Omegas. Definitely everything in the first case in the upper left corner. That whole bunch can go. I'd cull 50% of those Speedmasters, too. Maybe keep the Snoopy.

I think the Explorer and Air-King are also pretty redundant, just pick one of them.

The rest are 100% keepers. The TT Daytona is pure class, best watch in the whole box. Best, that is, until your Day Date arrived, and now you have a new best watch

I’d keep x1 speedy - either the classic black dial or snoopy. Get rid of all seamasters. Santos, DJ and AK also gone.

Keep one GMT - ideally the BLNR and add a jubilee bracelet to it. Keep Sub & Daytona.

Congrats on the DD40! Incredible reference!

What did you end up moving from your collection?

Date-Just, Daytona (you'll have full PM now so no need for multiple Two-Tone),
NTTD, AK and Seamaster
