Not really tbh... I remember when I got mine in 2016, there were a lot of polls on 5711 vs 5712 and the 12 lost every time...

I can recall one member always used to mention that he had 3 Pateks - 5712A, 5711A and 5167R but I can't recall anyone talking only about his 5712A

That's what I have and agree. I still think they are a bit too similar but they each seem to find wrist time. If I had a blue 5711 and 5712, it would be much more difficult.

the whites are not that far away from the blues, just not that many out there,

Which is interesting, right? One would assume that since there are less of them, they would demand a higher price. Yet everyone is obsessed with the blue, which PP makes more of.

I love my white one. Likely the only thing I would ever give it up for would be a 5711R. I would sell it and likely pocket some money at the end of the transactions, that is LUNACY.

I would only buy it at msrp, which I think I can pull off.

Out of your 5167, 5522 and white 5711 I would sell the 5522 to fund the 5712. Don't like Patek's pilot watches very much and prefer much cheaper such as IWC which I use as a daily beater. In any event I wouldn't pass on the opportunity to get a 5712 at MSRP.

I have the 5711 steel in both white and blue dials as well as in rose gold. I have the holy trinity lol

The only one that I would ever consider selling is the blue. Because it’s the one I like the least and dial colour wise it’s close to my 5712.

I will never sell the 5711 white. 10x more versatile than the blue.
