I had a white and then a black non-GV Milgauss but could never get past the colors. I loved the looks but there's no room in my collection for something I'll only wear a few times a month. If they lost the orange/peach tones and went more to silver, black and red combinations I'd be a lot bigger fan. I'll probably get another some day because I love them still...or maybe an Air King is on my horizon, who knows. |

So many mixed opinions on the Milgauss. I personally love it. There is nothing like the green crystal and the bolt second hand. Two attributes I find so unique and stunning.

I get more compliments on my Millie GV than on my gold Rolexes. Believe it or not. Not sure why.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the Milgauss. I’ve yet to own one. If I ever buy another watch it could be the one. As an engineer it has a certain call to me!!!

It’s a cool watch. I wished it didn’t have PCLs and I would add oysterlock.

Great pic! As much as I love the Z Blue, I think the white dial is so crisp and clean. I love that Rolex has a ton of historic - and fairly conservative - models, as well as some bold models like the Milgauss and the Air-King. Something for everyone.

I really think this watch is going to make a big comeback. I don't know why but just a hunch. The white dial is the one I have, but really am tempted to add some of the other dials. I find it such a cool watch.

It seems to be a well proportioned watch. Not too big, not too small, not too thin, not too thick. Just in the Goldilocks zone. Has a solid, yet comfortable, feel to it. I completely overlooked the white one some years ago when looking at the others, but am now the proud owner of one.

In my neck of the woods from West Hollywood to Venice, at the market and the gym that I frequent nearly every day, GMTs and Subs are as common as your Porsche 911 and rightfully so. They're legendary consumer products that have withstood the test of time - continue to do so.
But this iconoclast of a bad boy is best fit for me. It's the reverent and irreverent all-in-one. Had to call around the Socal ADs using the Rolex.com map and after the 7th or 8th store on the cusp of maybe next time, I hit jackpot. Turns out no later than 20 minutes after I put down my layaway deposit, someone else called saying they wanted it stat. That green glass, orange bolt and tropical dial matched with the unmistakably Rolex oyster bracelet are everything. Thank you for the thread/pics, y'all! |

My Z Blue has been getting a lot of wrist time since I got it a month ago. Love it.
