Do you think Meteorite dial worth the premium ?

Yes, it's worth the premium only if it's within budget.

eBay, Etsy, etc. It’s not an expensive material and absolutely not worth the premium.

What other brands offer watches that feature real meteorite dials? I would like to get one for the uniqueness of it, but probabaly not a Rolex I can’t afford the premium.

Meteorite itself is actually not as rare as it seems. As others have mentioned you can get a meteorite dial watch from other manufacturers at a much lower price, some no name brands do it under $1k.

With that said, I’ve only seen Rolex have meteorite dials that have a lighter color. All the other meteorite dials are very dark. Not sure if it’s because it’s an easier process to make, or when you do it lighter it’s easy to wash out the dial and not really see the meteorite pattern.

Rolex definitely has some nice meteorite dials. Worth it at Msrp without a question, hard to justify at secondary unless you’re chasing the rarity.

I love the meteor dial, classy and unique dial, I just don’t see a $30K premium it carries but that’s Rolex.

I like it at times, most of the times not.

Weird how the meteorite hype went away.

Looks amazing with black sub dials framed with the ceramic bezel and the stainless steel case.

Small premium is good. I had looked for awhile for the WG meteorite with non ceramic/WG bezel on leather. Finally found a good example am thrilled to have it in the collection. So unique, dial changes a lot depending on lighting on other factors. Compared to newer version this was quite reasonable.
Perfect w WG IMHO.

Was offered a meteorite white gold day date yesterday from the Ad. Only problem is it had a diamond bezel which was a non starter.

THIS

The meteorite is not the problem, as you see it on other brands easily to acquire.

Is it worth it at retail 100%, at that point you have purchased several heavy hitters and other jewelry with your AD why not buy it it’s more of appreciation from your AD for your business.

Also Rolex selects premium dials for there natural dials. Now at grey pricing I say yes as well. Because if you are considering it and have the means to close the deal go for it you only live once.

At retail, yes it is quantifiably special.

Not so keen at grey, early days it's a feeding frenzy as the greys pump up the prices with hype.

Hopefully the last 3 years have taught them not to be so greedy and to focus on just a handful of models.

You have to love the aesthetic to pay the premium.

Don't like the look. So no point in thinking about if the premium is justified.
