Can't speak for others but I still love mine. If I go too long without wearing it I'll start to miss it.

Thanks all. I also read another forum and learn that the dial is hard to read under some light conditions. Yes the price point is so tempting right now for me to make a move

The gold version is perhaps one of the prettiest chrono’s ever made but the MSRP is a bit enthusiastic imho

Totally agree with you on the gold version. I tried both the SS and gold version, and I like the gold version more than the SS. I don’t have any yellow gold watch but the color works really well with the CdV.

The gold version can be had for $40K in the second hand market, so no reason to go MSRP.

Another big fan here. It's one of those hidden gems in high horology, filled with vintage charm and which takes you back to another time when you look at it... I especially love the platinum version. Had the opportunity to try it on once and thought it wore perfectly for my 17cm wrist.

There have been several posts in TRF on CdV. One I remember was a guy who loved his gold one many decades ago and then sold it. When they re-released it, he bought a SS one and hated it. I agree the gold / silver contrast is what makes the gold version just stand out. Even the platinum is bland by comparison. Although the SS is cheaper - the gold is the classic combo and the most beautiful variant IMHO.

thank you. totally agree with your comment. something still bugs me for the SS version and platinum version because both the dial and case have the same color tone. i will try the gold version to see how it sits on my wrist.
