Any idea why Tudor only went to 45 minutes vs 60 minutes on the left sub dial of the THC?

I'm in.

Here's a picture of my newly acquired Tudor Heritage Chrono:

And here's one of my THC and the Wifey's Prince Oysterdate:

Looking forward to adding to both of our Tudor collections in the future.

A nod to the original Monte Carlo chrono layout.

I think they were staying true to the original Monte Carlo. They also have a 60 second sub-dial and a 45 minute sub-dial, except in the opposite locations on the dial.

Another reason may be that it could be confusing having two sub-dials with identical numerical values. Even though one measures minutes and the other measures seconds, it could be confusing with two sub-dials that count to 60. By making one 60 and the other 45, you immediately know which one is which.

I understand the nod to the original. I actually mean why they put it on there like that in the first place.

Picture of me and "Ike"

I am a new member of the Tudor Owners Club. Pictures of my newly received "Iconaut" at Niagara Fall, NY. Love this watch. Thought of a good nickname for my watch "Ike". I believe that the name fits it well. What a great watch!
