16710. Very cool piece and prices are going up.

Thank you for the replies! I think I'll get a 16710 now, and a BLNR sometime down the road.

The hunt begins...

16710. I like the thinner case and slimmer lugs. You can find a nice example of 16710 for the money of a BLNR today, and I do see the price on the nice 16710 climbing further. I own several GMTs (4, 5, 6 digits); the 116710LN and BLNR get the least wrist time due to the larger lugs. Hope this helps!

It looks like yours there was born originally with a Red/Black, re-born as a BLRO when it went in with a non-original BLRO insert. To my knowledge this isn't done at the HK RSC, and in fact I've never been issued a physical warranty card as pictured. I'll find out if this is a new thing, as I'm expecting a 16750 to come out of service in a couple weeks.
This is not my watch but I've used picture from one of the trusted sellers here.
I'm in the market for "born pepsi" 16710B and was surprised to see this as well.

With your collection, def a 16710 or variant of an older GMT.

A friend of mine has the BLNR and clearly thinks it is superior to my 16710 - I'll stick with my 16710 and he can shove his BLNR.

They're both such great pieces. If this were your only Rolex I'd say BLNR. But given your collection it's 16710 Pepsi all the way

16710 Pepsi or BLNR ?

Besides the color and bezel insert material, it really comes down to the maxi case or the original case. 16710 wears thinner, and the original Pepsi scheme is my sweet spot.

When the BLNR came out I was captivated. But after a month or two I cooled off on that color combo. I have never lost my ardor for the Pepsi.

Or does it simply mean that if you ship to RSC 16710 with whatever bezel that will be what ultimately RSC papers will say ?
i don't think rolex cares. i bought a 16710ln. later added pepsi and coke. my coke bezel insert and bezel ring got damaged. Sent it to rsc with the damaged coke insert and they sent it back with a new coke insert and bezel ring.
