If you look at the easy link system on the Milgauss (pressure fit, snaps in/out, inside of the clasp - much like a traditional diver's extension), I think this will be the same concept on the new Sub.

The DSSD and the newest Sub's both have what's called the GLIDELOCK clasp, but, they are different from each other!!!
The newer subs glidelock can only be adjusted from underneath the buckle and has a total adjustment of 21mm and no longer an extension link!!! So 21mm is the total adjustment!!
The DSSD glidelock adjustment can be accessed from the top(whist wearing) and has an adjustment of 18mm, + also has a divers foldout extension link like the old SD and Subs for a further 26mm adjustment!!(total of 44mm,the larger adjustment is for thicker divesuits needed at extreme depths!)
Why Rolex named it the Glidelock for both is obvious although a little variation on both models..Hope that clears things up a little!!!
Thanks for the post and clarification!

I have to disagree and still say the Deep Sea is the only watch in the Rolex line with this amazing clasp. Unless I am proven otherwise.
Ha, you're totally right!!! Cool, I feel better now since we'll still have the better one LOL I missed that detail earlier today
