I am simple minded.
I go for a silver DJ, plus another spot watch with black dial.

Thanx alot for the feedback..looks like silver is unanimous! In reference to the black dial and slight familiarity to the other sports models helped me make my decision! I think I'll go with the sliver! Now, all I have left to decide is.... White stick or Roman! Getting closer...

This dial also comes in black and silver. I love the depth it has and highly recommend it!

I always prefer DJ with a stick.
One thing you might consider is a tuxedo dial. Doesn't have the full on black dial sports look and is easier to read than the straight silver dial. I don't have a picture to share but others might. In any event you will love your watch... good luck with your purchase. |

I actually decided to go with a DJII and the slate colored dial with green roman numerals.
However if I were to chose between silver and black, I would have to go with the silver dial. To me it looks a whole lot better than black. It's the classic DJ color.

I'm shopping around for my first DJ, and I really want a vintage with the linen dial

I am wearing a silver datejust with Roman numerals on a jubilee bracelet. My wife has the matching watch.

I have the white dial and love it. It is a little dressier than the black dial, in my opinion, and with the fluted bezel I get compliments all time. The silver looks good, but I like a little more contrast between the watch's outside and the dial itself.
