I have both. EasyLink gets the job done. Glidelock gets it done perfectly.

The only issue I have with glidelock is that the clasp spans the ENTIRE width of my wrist... it bothers me a bit.

Glide lock! I was hoping that one of the announcements for the new year was going to be more watches with the glide lock. And they could even make the clasp smaller and allow half the adjustment or so on it if clasp size is an issue. Then the watch can easily fit more wrists without removing or adding links.

I think Easylink does the job for most people giving a simple & quick 5mm extension in a compact form factor that keeps the clasp less bulky. However for a dive watch the Glidelock makes more sense with it heavier build and wider range of adjustment (20 mm) and just seems right. I have and appreciate both. Cheers!

I've had both and prefer the easy-link just because its smaller, I rarely ever adjusted the glidelock when I had it but is a great feature if you use it often

Glidelock Clasp VS. Easylink
Also is it normal for my Oyster Perpetual clasp to have a little play in it or should I snap tight?

Have glide lock on my 114060 and easy link on my BLNR. I swear if my BLNR had a glide lock that would be a perfect watch. I love my BLNR but to me glide lock is better.

I am surprised how many votes for glidelock. I like the smaller easylink.
