I do not like the 6119 for the same reason - it's too cluttered.
- hobnail bezel
- railroad track with markings every minute
- a round dot in gold on the railroad track every 5 minutes
- baton marker every 5 minutes
- on the seconds dial, markings every 5 seconds
- on the seconds dial, large marking every 15 seconds

.... just too much clutter for me. They could have removed the railroad track and the dots on the railroad track, it would have looked much more appealing to me.

My AD is now having problems getting their longstanding clients to buy the 6119G, I've already said no and two of my friends also said no.
Agree, the 6119 is a miss rather than a hit. Just a mix of too many different style elements that were never meant to work together and it shows.

Also prefer the JLC sector dial over the 5296G but no date would have been even better. Very much a date guy but it doesn't work well on sector dials IMO.

Personally, I’d buy the non sector 5296 then add a JLC sector. Would be a nice combo.
I think the plain 5296 looks really nice.

I wanted to get this badly. Was able to track one down and tried it on. I dont think the dial is that busy. The hands are in proportion to the various sectors.

I have a 5196J and 5296 has similar proportions. If I didn't already have the 5296 I might have got this.

The hands are very short in relation to the case.

Everybody is complaining about the non-P 5196's small seconds, and with the 5296 suddenly everything is forgiven?
