Tried that site already. They don't sell overseas, as per Montblanc agreement.

Not too into pens...but I do have a MontBlanc #146 (?) I won as a sales award. I use it every day and my handwriting still sucks.

You have to hold them at an angle, but the line variations and flare is just superb. Might I also recommend the Fountain Pen Network which is a great forum that I have been a member of for some time now. Great people!! http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/fo...ex.php?act=idx

Use these daily at work.
.7mm Pencil gets the most action, the other is the Rollerball pen. this is where they live

I have one MB and thinking about getting more into pens. I've seen this forum and wondering if you know of any others out there? Is this the best? Any specifically dedicated primarily to MB (like TRF)? How are the discussions regarding pens? I know I could just check them out...but I'm a lazy man and don't want to waste my time trying to determine if the pen forums are decent and worth spending some time in. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks. |

Do pens have to be MontBlanc to be posted in the MontBlanc pen collection thread?

Went into the MB AD in Sydney to have a look. Know jack about pens, the lady there was quite helpful but no discounts unfortunately. I also have several questions to ask you gents: 1) Out of the fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint which one would be best for everyday use? 2) How often do you actually use a fountain pen? Is it more of a collecting thing than a practical object? I did like the feel and flow of the rollerball - the one using fountain pen ink, felt classy. Ballpoint felt like any other pen. |
