It's a great photo for certain. Not much into DJs so best is lost on me.

Best modern 36mm for me is the 126234 blue motif. This is nice as well.

I’d prefer to have the micro adjustment rather than the hidden clasp.

It’s definitely a classic Datejust.

My SS 36mm white dial, Roman numerals, oyster gets the most wrist time out of my collection l

Personally, the 36mm DJ is the quintessential Rolex.

Personally, i can agree with you on two aspects of the watch - fluted bezel + jubilee bracelet. Thanks for sharing

It's not bad for a modern DJ, but the best DJs of all time have engine turned bezels. In my opinion, of course.

I have tried and owned quite a few datejusts but this is the one that stayed. I have a bit larger wrist so the 36mm was just too small. This is the 41 and this dial and bracelet is just so versatile absolutely love it. Have this one 4 years now. Always enjoy wearing it. 20240126_150819.jpg

Personal preference obviously but the combination for fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet and the classic baton markers make it work for me. My color choices are silver/white, black and then blue.

Just a matter of personal opinion on which DJ is the ”best”. Everyone will have their own thoughts and favorites. If it makes you happy, then it’s a “best” for you….that’s all that counts

Nice pic

This is the correct answer! If Wimbledon, yellow gold two tone look is the most striking, in my totally biased opinion. Also, agree about great pic.

I own the 41mm version -- blue dial, fluted, Jubilee -- and think it's FANTASTIC.

It's difficult to beat that when lit just perfectly like that! I'd say that and the same version w/the silver dial are tied within the current lineup.

However IMO, the honor of "best looking" goes to the 116264, white dial, either bracelet. It's the one and only modern DJ I think looks at least as good on Oyster and where the PCL on that variant doesn't bother me.

I'm partial to the Blue Oyster Cult.

Jubilee/fluted is too fancy for me but I do appreciate the "classic-ness" of it.
