I wonder if Rolex will keep so many in Vegas. I guess a lot of people are willing to jump on a plane if their number gets called

I too was in Las Vegas last weekend to watch Dead and Co for a few night. Tried to get into the AD at Ceasers, and the guard at the door turned me away. As I had my Pepsi on, not that he noticed as I was also wearing a dead T shirt as well.

To be totally honest I think that may have soured me on Rolex. I have several currently, including my grandpas, and have loved the brand but dislike where this market is.

Waited 5 years for a GMT and finally went grey for the Pepsi. I would love a Daytona or even a Starbucks
, but not sure I am interested in playing this game anymore…

You weren't allowed to go into the AD because you wore a t-shirt? That's insane in our current world of ultra casual.

I don’t know if it was the fact that I was in a T shirt or not, buy I only saw one couple in the AD and was told I needed an appointment to enter the store.

I have been to numerous AD’s in different states and countries and have never been turned away. I guess my reason for posting is that it’s amazing the OP was in Vegas the same weekend as I was, to go see the same concert and we had vastly different experiences at an AD.

Great story and nice to see a number of DHs on the list! I sense the show is more light show oriented than the typical GD or D&C show that is all about the music. But I have heard many very positive things about their shows at the Sphere.

Sounds like a great time all the way around. Enjoy your new watch!

You were in a different AD. Ceasers vs Bellagio.

I have the same build and your commentary reflects my feelings towards the watch. I have the 11 series. It's a substantial piece and the first Rolex I purchased. Enjoy it.

I have heard rumor these are not hard to find but that has not been my experience. In fact I’ve not seen one in the steel in a long time and was blown away when they brought it out. Highlight of the trip (although I’d highly recommend seeing Dead & co at the Sphere as well). Moral of the story is there is never any harm in asking.
Nice! Congratulations!!

I was in Vegas in April and I agree, checking out the boutiques was my favorite part. My highlight may have been the Bucherer at Caesars, looking at Breguets!

Love it. I do the exact same thing except they never have anything in stock. My bad luck so I go back to the tables!

I was in Japan a few weeks ago. Went to seven ADs. None of them had a single watch in the store. Not one! I live in Los Angeles. There are a dozen ADs around me. Not one has a single watch in stock when I go around on my Saturday hunting excursions. Watch hunting that is.
