In this hypothetical, I’d axe the omega and BLNR.

Explorer, and the BLNR, too many GMTs, I like the DJ mint and the snoopy.
Pepsi, Rootbeer…

I would take out 3 pieces and keep 4.
Out:
Omega and the two steel jubilee GMT’s.
The Rolex GMT combination jubilee bracelet + busy lunette is to much for me.

I would keep the Snoopy/Pepsi/Explorer....get rid of the rest including the DJ (I would switch it to a 36mm DJ)

Help me reduce this collection to five pieces

My thoughts, exactly! Firstly, you have great taste. The green Datejust makes a great dress watch. No need for a Day Date. Certainly no need for three GMTs, so the Pepsi is the keeper!

You want to keep the BLRO - fine, there’s your GMT.

I’m guessing you like green so keep the LV - that gives you a dive watch.

I’d keep the explorer as a simple, versatile, less flashy daily.

The omega gives brand diversity and a chronograph.

That leaves you free to add a blue dial VC overseas for the blue you want and brand diversity along with a classy evening watch that’s sporty.

So out goes CHNR, BLNR and the datejust which should pay for it and give you some money back.

Agree.

Pepsi makes Batgirl redundant, and Explorer the weakest/plainest out of the others.

What’s left is an amazing collection with lots of variety.

I’d get rid of the DJ and the Explorer, easiest watches to replace if you were to change your mind

Get rid of any two GMTs. Seems like purchases due to popularity rather that usefulness.

You only need 1 GMT

Ditch the rootbeer and the batman if it was my collection

I'd eliminate the DJ and BLNR (I prefer your other GMTs).

I’d get rid of the two tone and the pepsi. The explorer needs to be 36mm. Otherwise this is ok.

The Root beer and the Explorer would go. Not a fan of the configuration of the DJ so it could go also.

Lots of suggestions to remove the CHNR. Is that because most are not a fan of two tone ?

I know this is a theoretical exercise just for fun, but why would a collector bother going from 7 to 5?

If someone had gotten a little crazy with their aquistions, and wanted (or needed) to thin the heard from 12 pcs to 5, then I get it.

…Oh, and I’d drop the Explorer and Rootbeer, and swap DJ for a blue dial.

Thank you.

Keep these:
Kermit: casual and fun watch and nice for Summer activities
Pepsi: elegant with the jubilee and useful, can be dressed up or down easily
Explorer: your dress watch
Rootbeer: your gold elegant watch
fifth one is either the datejust for it's classiness or speedy if you are either into the "moon" hype or into Snoopy but for me both watches dont matter tbh

First of all, I wouldn't touch it.

If I had to consolidate, I would combine the CHNR and BLRO into a WG 126719 with blue dial, which would take it down to 6...and then I'd sit on that for a while and see if something else needed to go. Bad idea to move two spaces at a time.

Good luck,
