Give him my name, he might give you a deal, or then again he might not sell to you.
Thanks, but one step at a time.

I know, I know but that goes the same for John or anyone else here. Seriously if you give him my name I am pretty sure he will try to take care of anyone.

How many straps are you up to now??
Again, the sunny days here, finally, sunshine again, I cannot believe how bright these Pan's get when exposed to the sun. Until you see them, you can't describe how much they light up.

They do glow like a torch mate!! I have actually sold off a few straps in the last week or so. But then I just got a few 26MM straps for the Rad today. Actually two of them were gifts from other Paneristi since it was my first Rad. How cool is that?

But I think I am in the neighborhood of 17 and an aftermarket bracelet. I really only wear about 4 or 5 but like all the ones I currently have.

Very nice, John. You did well with that acquisition. Enjoy it and wear it well.

I would keep the deployment strap. Once you get used to it, you won't want to bother with the tang anymore.

I love the look of the Tang on a Panerai but I am really digging the deployant on the 162.

The straps are so easy to change now, with the extra tang/buckle, I can switch 3 straps between the 2 watches in no time now
It changes the look quite a lot.
Guess there will be more straps in my future.
Oh, I had barely got the new watch home & had the strap off, my wifes was WTF are you doing???
BUT, my pet peeve is that extra loop to hold the excess strap down. Either my wrist is small ( I don't think so , as the leather straps are in the centre & my Rolex was fine right out of the box) or they put that thing on just to annoy people.

I'm keeping my keepers too.
Now, with respect to straps & fashion, should I be pulling a "Herb Tarlick" and make sure that my shoes match my belt match my watch strap???

I meant I take of the floating one and just use the one that is fixed.

I tend to match the whole shabang most of the time, but I have been accused of being over-metro from Johnny and Bruce for a long time.

I'm still learning. No problem
BTW, just got a call, they kept my name on the list for either the 000 or 005.
I guess watches are cheaper than cars. For the first 15 years of our marriage, we had gone through about 20 cars. Worse than JJ and his watches.

That is a great point, heck you are getting off cheap!! That is assuming that you are not still flipping cars?

Down to about a car every 2.5 years now. Which isn't that bad considering we have 3 now
The MINI was my longest owned at 3.6 years.
My wifes Honda just passed the 4 year mark.

Better up that to every 3 years so you can get the extra watch instead.
