Yes. All SS Subs are dull. I ditched mine after 4 weeks for this reason. Went back to TT again (DJ41).

Why dull? Well, because everyone is wearing a lookalike SS divers watch these days. Boring.

You get bored quickly regarding the LN. The Sunburst blue I've had for over 3 years now and everytime I put it on it still puts a smile on my face.

And yes I've owned both the LN and the LB. I would do the trade in a second without a hesitation. The Blue just looks special. The LN - yeah not so much.

Never base your preferences on others, Funny thing is that DJ is a much more common watch than subs...

Oh well, I guess I’ll have to continue to enjoy my “dull” watch.

Black is so yesterday and boring. lol. The blue dial is hands down nicer to look at than plain old black.

I did just that, and I love my Bluesy. For me it was a step up to what I really wanted.

I would. I actually find the 116600LN quite common - living in Singapore. I like the bling bling and I think even though it's TT, the blue makes it socially acceptable and the whole acesthetic of the watch is nicely put together.

Yes...sold my GMTc to fund my 116613LB.
I love the blue ceramic bezel....the older reference didn’t do it for me, but the maxi case and shine of the ceramic is gorgeous. Wish I could swing a new yachmaster

i own a TT white dial datejust and a SS sub. I could wear the SS sub to the office, in the weekends with a t-shirt, and basically everything else. the TT, it looks really nice with office wear but i could never pull it off with more casual clothing. maybe the blue TT sub would be more versatile but if I were u, I would keep the sub and add on the TT, or just keep the sub.

No brainer since everyone and their momma got a black sub. The black sub is a nice beater Rolex.

I consider myself very fortunate that I have both.
However, if I could only have one, and some may be surprised at this answer, honestly I think it would have to be the LN.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the LB, but the LN is far more practical (for me anyway) as an everyday, go anywhere, do anything kind of watch.
As beautiful as the LB is, it does attract attention, purely because it absolutely screams 'ROLEX'
Fine if your at a corporate function and don't mind a little 'showey bling' however sometimes you just want to 'blend in' and not seem quite so 'showey' - that's where the LN scores, you know you've got a quality timepiece in your wrist, 99% of the randoms your mixing with won't have a clue or even notice probably...
Oh! and btw.... 'boring' is most definately a word that should NEVER be used to describe the classic black Submariner..
...just sayin'

Go ahead but you may not be satisfied. You'll then want to trade up to the YG PM in no time

This 100%. First you start off with SS, then it goes to the TT and then you will eventually want the full YG watch.

The ultimate is a full PM piece.
