Great collection. I hate when I miss a watch that I flipped.

Great collection Rick. Been through a very similar process. Spent about 10 years flipping watches all the time. From vintage, to 5 digits to 6, then back to vintage. Now with a mix and have not bought or sold anything for over a year. Nice to be content and not grinding on the "next" watch.

Enjoy the Peace!

I have bought and sold the GMT IIC in both all black and BLNR twice each! You are not alone. Last time I swore the BLNR was a keeper but apparently not. And in all honesty I can't 100% rule out buying it again.

Like you, I have the Milgauss Z-Blue which I am really enjoying. Anyway, nice collection.

I honestly know that I've never truly thought that before. I had become addicted to the thrill of buying a new watch and somehow got a way of enjoying the pieces that I've worked hard to collect. I did a rough count the other day and Ive bought over 30 pieces in the past six years . I do feel for me at least that the perfect number is three, but my collection sits at four. Of the four I have, I've bought the BLNR four different times and the blue Milgauss three different times, only to miss them like crazy! I'm glad the flipping train has finally come to an end. The only other move I was contemplating was the blue sky dweller or a blue sub, but after finally seeing the blue sky dweller and getting to wear a friends blue sub for a few days I now know I'm done. At least until something Basel BLOWS me away.......

Do I take from your post that you were underwhelmed by the Sky Dweller. Would like to hear your perspective. It is always interesting hearing about how models in real life are different than in pictures, which goes both ways.

Nice collection!!! I can't believe there is no diver of any kind. I just started down the Rolex path and find myself wanting to buy several pieces daily. I struggle and take a few minutes to clear my head. Then I gain my composure and feel relieved about not spending more money on watches. It's like a roller coaster ride. Each time I purchase a new watch I tell myself I am good for a while and within a few days I am back searching for my next fix admiring my new one on my wrist...I got issues!!

What about the BLRO?

And you haven't started on the vintage stuff yet!!!

Try a BLRO and/or a 5513 and see what happens.
