None of my other 4 luxury watches get as much attention as the bluesy.

That watch gets a comment almost everytime I wear it in public.

Perfect for a weekend in Vegas... Not so much when you have to walk to your car after midnight in a bad part of town.

I rarely wear mine cos it’s top bling for my regular attire, but truly it is the iconic one to me as well.

And that’s also why I feel super good whenever I do wear it.

Your thoughts on the Bluesy?

Lovin it!! Been wearing it every day. Shorts, jeans, shorts, jeans. Sometimes we make things too complicated. “Wear what you love”

Bought mine in July, every time I wear it, I cannot take my eyes off it. Truly one of the most beautiful Rolex watches ever...

Icon7

I feel that the colour scheme for the 126613LB is striking with its stainless steel and bright yellow but it doesn't work together visually unless perhaps that wasn't the intention. Individually, each of the elements are great, but combined in the way that it is I feel it is rather unharmonious. Also I fail to understand the bluesy nickname which sounds like floozy.

BTW, is it Rolex's first bi-metal Submariner?

Its a beautiful watch but its not that iconic.
It just stands out more because of the combo: gold and a blue dial.

When it comes to 2 tone Rolex watches, the 36mm DJ is the iconic model of reference imo.
When it comes to Sub, the ss black dial Sub is the iconic one.

Bluesy is a modern watch in terms of Rolex tradition and history. It has not yet reached the iconic title....

What are you on about? Gold and Blue is the color combo of KINGS even during the ancient Egyptian times. It has been the color of kings for centuries and it goes together sooooo well. You cant get a better combo than gold and blue.

LOL

The name nick name "Bluesy" is terrible! I would not buy for that reason alone.

I bought a 6 digit when I first seen it and was blown away by the dial/sunburst. However after owning it for a short time I fell out of love with it pretty quick. It is a beautiful watch but it didnt do it or me.

Disagree.

Stainless Sub = iconic
Daytona = iconic
OP = iconic

Bluesy, although beautiful in the proper lighting, is too flashy. BTDT.

It is iconic. The fact that we know which model the name bluesy is referencing is an example. Iconic because the most popular TT Rolex.

I had one for 18 years as my only Rolex. I wore it less and less as time went on. It just became too flashy for me and my lifestyle. Five years ago, I traded it in towards a BLNR and never looked back.

In hindsight, I wish I had bought a SS GMT at the time.

. Too much flash. Gives me "used car salesman" vibes. But, there's no denying it, it sure is pretty.

The fact that the Blusey is still around after a long time and was updated with no hesitation to the newest moment and 41m form factor is a testament to it's popularity. I don't think the 116613LN was ever updated.

Some might view it as not as iconic to say the original 16233 yuppie watch of the 80s but this is still a great reference with a show stopper sunburst blue dial.

Not everyone can pull it off or even want too but that takes nothing away from it being just a beautiful time piece.
