Ok so here’s the issue

Visually it’s possibly the most beautiful Rolex model of all the two tones with root beer a close second. However it’s extremely flashy and a lot of people don’t like that. Most people say they wouldn’t wear it every day because it’s so flashy and can get a lot of attention. Others say the color scheme reminds them of the 80s. I personally love the watch and I’m planning to get it as my next purchase.

When you see it on your wrist you’ll either go nuts from the combo or you’ll say nah. Those that say nah are due for a psych eval.

Some great food for thought and I resonate with so many views on here.

London kind of bad right now for robberies and violent crime so will take that into account too and that's coming from someone who has never taken a watch off wherever I've been and I've frequented some very dodgy places in my time haha, but age and experience wisens you up right..

I’ve never been a two tone guy, but I appreciate the beauty of that blue dial. Put blue bezel and dial on a SS and I’d have one.

Had the 116613LB for a while and it is a beauty - but it is just one problem: It drove me nuts as I always wondered how it would look on my wrist in full YG and not TT. Sold it and bought a YG Sub. The funny part is that a YG Sub is less "flashy" than a TT Sub as the blue and steel and gold makes the TT really loud visually.

I own the new Bluesy you definitely need to try it on, as soon as I seen it at my AD I loved it, one of the best looking Rolex there is IMO the dial is unbelievable puts a smile on my face every time I look at it, good luck.

I owned the 5 digit as my first and only and wore it as a daily for 18 years in every situation. Loved it, but over time the aluminum bezel made it feel dated to me and I recently moved it. However I will probably pick up a ceramic again.
Interestingly I found my PCL bracelets to show scratches more than the LB, but I’ve learned to stop worrying about scratches and I’m not an anti-polish person when it comes time for service.
This is back from RSC after first service (18 years old)

Man I love this watch! Just picked up a 126610LV and it is definitely satisfying, but at the same time really has me wanting to build out a Sub collection! I would love a Bluesy then some day down the line an all gold Sub.

Put it on your wrist, and you will know if it is for you. After I sold my 5 digit 13LB, I was planning on replacing it with the 6 digit version. Then I had the unexpected “problem” of having/getting to choose between it & the 10. I put them both on my wrist, and the blue sunburst dial was still singing loudly!

Don’t doubt your heart.

It's rather easy to avoid scratches on the PCL's... just be "arm aware" meaning know where you put your arm at all times, don't rub the bracelet against your clothes, etc... Keep the watch clean, but don't make the mistake I made with my Bluesy trying to obsessively rub fingerprints off it with a soft cloth. Those cloths are not good at absorbing finger oils, just don't touch the watch and wait until you get home and use soap and water and an absorbent soft microfiber towel (used in car detailing and such) along with a hair dryer to clean the watch. Don't rub with the towel, just carefully wrap it around the watch it after you gave it a bath with soap and water and using your fingers only, let it absorb the water and dab it dry and then get the rest of the water out of the nooks and crannies with the hair dryer. I know, it seems excessive, but it's the best way to keep the scratches away. After my Bluesy I bought a Rootbeer, and it virtually has no scratches on it using my methods described above.

Yeah, it takes a bit of work, and many people here find it silly to try to keep a watch pristine, but, it's my watch, that's how I treat it.

Good luck, hope you buy one and get to enjoy it!
What?

I would recommend trying it on to see how you feel about it. It is a very striking watch aesthetically in which the designers have achieved by eclectically combined its three materials namely stainless steel (common), gold (luxury), and blue (conservative). Resultantly, it is for those with eclectic tastes. It does have a fittingly egregious nickname to go with it.
