I would for those 3.

My personal taste means I’m not too fond of the dial on the 5712.

I love the 5726 however. So I’d trade the 3 for that really.

I would not do that trade. As suggested by another poster, trade others for the Patek.

Is it a 5 digit GMT? If so I’d keep that and dump the Daytona and the Sub plus one of the others (probably the JLC as I don’t like them). I love GMT watches but the Daytona personally I don’t like at all and the sub can be replaced down the line. If you have a chance to get the PP at retail grab it.

I wouldn’t do it. 5712 is nice but not those 3 watches nice IMO.

5712 at retail is tough to find.

The RO can go. It’s a current model, not impossible to get.

I would dump the JLC, the Tudor also.

I wouldn’t part with that Daytona and the 5 digit GMT.

I would not do it!

No matter how much you love a watch...... you get bored sometimes after a while. Those 3 pieces give you great diversity and they are, also, iconic/desirable models!

You must have Nautilus fever! Agreed that they are hard to get, but not so sure giving up such a great land/sea/air trio is worth the price. Interesting that you want to hang on to the Explorer. Do what makes you happy though. Good luck in your decision. Cheers!

The 5712 is a very light/slight watch on the wrist when compared to those three Rolex sport models. I would suggest you keep at least one of them or you'll miss that amazing Rolex wear-ability.

I have the 5712 and couldn't do without also owning a Rolex of those models (or all 3 ).

But swap in another watch and do the deal. The Nautilus is amazing.

Not opposed to a 3/1 trade for something you’re SURE you want vs something you don’t wear.....but those three for that particular piece....no. Speaking from first hand experience btw.

Yes on the 3 for 1, but not those 3. I would sell the RO, Tudor, JLC, and cash. That would make a great collection.

If you very much like the PP then do the trade 3 to 1 trade (hope you do not later regret it ), try and negotiate a better deal.

Daytona, submariner and GMT.

The other watches will stay in the collection so those are the three I have in mind. Would you do a 3 for 1?

The 5712 would be brand new at msrp.
I would keep the Aquanaut/Sub/GMT and clear out the rest for the trade. Steel or leather band?

No. Trade the Tudor, Explorer, JLC, and even the Aquanaut. Keep the rest. A collection picture for us to see would be nice.

I love the 5712 but I am not sure I would let that trio go! I would let go of the Aquanaut, the Tudor, and the explorer.

I say yes but then i also noticed all three are pretty desirable pieces and you might miss at least one of them. Not so sure

Get the 5712 for sure. Wouldn't sell the Daytona though. Probably the 5167 and be done with it or get rid of either Hulk or Batman too. But since you say all others are keepers sure you have to do it.

Or the JLC, GMT, Hulk and Tudor so you have RO, 5167, 5712, Daytona and Explorer.

Btw, will you use the RO much now when you get the nautilus?

At MSRP? Absolutely! This is my favorite Patek by far so I would certainly make that trade. However, it would be a tougher choice for me if they were six-digit ceramic models.

Kinda puzzled by the 'easy to replace' comments. The three watches you're thinking about trading are all discontinued and anything but easy to replace, unless I'm missing something?

That doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't trade them, however, in my mind it does mean you need to be really sure you're done with them forever before you flip them away. Just my two cents.

Market value of the 5712 is greater than market value of the 3 watches you want sell. Trade makes a lot of sense financially.

If you love the 5712 then it’s a no brainer

I actually feel the opposite. A one grail watch will make you happier than a bunch of watches you feel "meh" about.
