This is what I am thinking... the question is, is it worth taking the 36 if the 41 can't be delivered?

They both look good to me. I’d tell the SA to keep you in mind for either if it were me and make a decision with one in hand. Personally I think it is part of the journey of figuring out what you like. It might take a few months on the wrist to really know.
I’m interested in a candy pink and turquoise OP36 because honestly that’s all that’s currently being produced. If I’m able to get one and I don’t end up liking it I’m certain my wife will get plenty of use out of one.

41 no doubt. I was always in the camp of “smaller watches are better sized” but then I tried on a 36 mm right next to a 41 mm and the difference was huge. 41 already looks relatively small compared to the larger smart watches and fashion watches everyone wears these days and so 36 looked like a women’s watch to me (keep in mind I have a 6.5 inch wrist at that)

I really struggle when a watch isn’t ‘clamped’ to my wrist as I end up flexing my arm/wrist in an unnatural way to balance it Even if I end up wearing it looser later I need it to be snug when deciding if it suits me or not and I can always tell looking back at AD photos if the bracelet was loose at the time Also I’m aware that my wrists are skinny for my height and if I ever putt on weight I’d want the bigger watch even more You’re in a good position where both watches look good on you |

OP 36 or 41 Green Dial?
I have 175mm wrist 6.89 inches and while the 36 is and looks small it looks better than the disproportioned 41. I’ve bought 2 OP 36 lately for my wife and mom and have worn them for about a day each. I’m now trying to get an OP36 yellow maybe. I have a DJ41 and while it looks great. I feel it’s too big. Dinner plate is good analogy. DD40 is the bette size.
Regarding OP36 v OP41 the hour markers on the 36 are beveled on all 4 sides while the OP41 is only beveled along the long sides and doesn't glimmer as nicely in the sun. Plus the dial on the 36mm is filled just right and doesn’t have empty space like the 41. Here a video comparing the 2 sizes and our pair https://youtu.be/7vpAtX7kbGM?si=2lMYlXldRNNAin5l Really digging these OPs. Should have asked for a yellow OP36 when they were available. Now I’ll even take the pink 36 I’ve requested for my daughter and sport it for a long while myself or indefinitely. |

Personal taste is such a funny thing
I do think the brighter dials command more attention and can therefore 'feel' even bigger than they are My yellow feels bigger than my red and when I tried on a 41mm celebration at the AD I wasn't sure about it at all but now like it a lot Back to how distorted photos taken directly above can feel these highlight that on me |

go with the 36. even though it's a smaller watch, it meant to wear small to stay in that classic look

6'1", 7.1" wrist and my 41 is perfect for me.

I vote for 36. The OP hasn't offered much besides the colorful simplicity they are, so having it too big would present too much nothingness. That's my opinion.

Owning both brighter and darker OPs in 41mm I can tell you that 41mm for brighter ones looks toyish so I recommend 36mm (except for the celebration dial which is very busy). However darker dials look good on 41mm

I own the 41 and am happy with my choice. It’s a 39mm watch after all. I would recommend to look at yourself in the mirror with the watch. It gives you a much better perspective how the watch wears in proportion to your body, etc

This has been pretty much a 50/50 split in opinion
I never thought the OP would be so divisive! |

Thanks, tried a date just in the mirror the 36mm looks tiny and the 41mm looks perfect/proportional to my wrist and height. But on my wrist the date just seemed huge.

I know right?? I had a feeling this might happen lol. Honestly if I get a call for the 41mm I will certainly take it, but I just feel like the AD is pushing the 36mm because that is what is possible and so that was/is my dilemma.
