I have to say blue.

Although I've always wanted the black TT - only have worn bluesy. And it's GREAT.

There is no wrong, both are great. The blue "starburst" dial is a little bit shinier than the black one, so depends on how much bling you wan't :) The black is better better with a tux but the blue looks better with jeans or a blue suit, everthing between is just a matter of taste

TT Black or Blue?

TT Black all the way
It is a very classy powerful piece.
The blue reminds me too much of a tag or a knock off or something... No offense guysImageUploadedByTapatalk1444191181.147979.jpg

We can agree on that invicta is garbage :) But the bluesy definitely doesn't look cheap in real life IMOP

I'm a blue eyed blond swede so I'm rocking the bluesy. But I admit, sometimes at formal events I wouldn't mind having a black one. Overall I'm pleased with my choice as it complements my eyes

Third Rolex. Had a explorer that I flipped, then got a blue OP 116000 (that I still have and use as a loaner for my girlfriends;)). I also have a few omegas in rotation.

How about you? Cheers!

My vote is for Bluesy ceramic. I traded up for a Smurf, but I really did like that watch.

I prefer the Bluesy myself. The dial is stunning and I think the blue and gold look great together.
I feel I have to point out though that I absolutely love blue and generally it wins out over anything else if I have to choose.

The blue is gorgeous but it has a tremendous amount of bling. I think this watch would garner as many, if not more looks than a solid gold piece. If you are comfortable with this go for it, it is beautiful. Personally I would go for the black, but no wrong answer here, all lies within your personal preference.

Love both and have considered both. In the minority here but I do prefer black. Black and gold is a classy combo IMO.

The blue dial and insert is very "striking" on the Submariner and is a favorite for me.

Honestly, from the options i would say blue dial is visually pleasing so i would go that route. But you are right, it is very blingy.

I would offer the blue since you have a black face model, but I must say that I have a new love for my TT black face GMT II; it's a beauty!

Thanks to all for some interesting points of view. Agree that there isn't really a wrong choice between the two but the blue is singing a bit louder at the moment with black fighting its corner as a more classy choice. Off to the dealer in a week or two - I'll post photos of the result.
