I wouldn’t buy it, irrespective of its hype status (if hype meant anything to me….which it doesn’t). I’m not an OP fan as it’s just too basic a watch for me, and I’m not a fan of turquoise. My g/f and her friends love the colour, but it’s just not for me.

Yes, I genuinely like the turquoise dial, it’s a cool fresh and different color. Liked it from the very beginning.

Yes, I tried to get it to wear in the Summer, but it's not possible to order any more. I'm a girl though :)

Definitely. I think it is a fun summer watch and that the MSRP is reasonable. But it's not something I want so bad that I can personally justify paying more for.

I’m a woman and I do love the red as it would look good with my skin tone, and the blue would be great for summer but I need to try them on in person because I’m not sure a big bright colored dot on my wrist would look good, and also I don’t know if I’d get tired of it eventually ?

Minus the hype I like it because of the unique & refreshing dial. At retail i will get matching pairs for me & my wife.

I’d definitely buy the 36mm turquoise for my wife at msrp but you’d have to pay me to wear it or the 41mm version.

Yes I would and did buy two.

When they first came out my AD had every colour to try on (but not for sale). I liked the turquoise dial the most and my AD told me he could make it happen.

I told him to hold off as I was looking for matching Rolex watches as a wedding gift and wanted to check that my future wife liked the colour.

She absolutely loved it and we pre-ordered a 31mm and 41mm as wedding gifts for each other.

Fast forward a few months later and we received the 41mm followed by the 31mm a short while later.

The colour looks absolutely amazing in person!

I bought the pink in 36mm for my wife as that is the color she liked. She had no interest in the turquoise and I wouldn't buy it for myself.

Would You Buy a Turquoise/Tiffany OP at MSRP If There Was No Hype?

Nope, just like I wouldn’t buy a Daytona at MSRP if there was no hype. Only reason I would buy either of these is to flip for quick cash, as I don’t find them appealing to myself to wear.

To each their own. I personally will not buy it. I'm not a flashy guy who's seeking attention. Especially during the last couple of years where people are robbing luxury watch owners while they are out.

It's bad enough that while I'm out having dinner, on a few occasions, my bartender or waiter would complement what's on my wrist. Luckily they are not the ones who would rob me at gun point. But are only only shooting the $hit with their customers.

I can only imagine what would happen if I'm out on a nice summer evening, while wearing a t-shirt and having a Tiffany dial exposed on my wrist.

For me, it's not worth the paranoia. And more importantly, eye catching watches are not my style.

Yes ! turquoise or green ... Im not sure i'd pay a penny over retail though.

And i've also had 2 of the previous 39mm OPs and they bored me quickly, so I sold them on.

For me? No. Not my shade of blue. Also, it’s an OP. I already have a time only Rolex.

For my wife? Sure. She kinda liked it.

Absolutely and I did. Bought turquoise around 2.2x retail and the dark blue at about 1.1x. I was lucky enough to see them in a grey and my favourites were turquoise then yellow. Missed the boat on the yellow though

I loved the Turquoise from the first day I saw it. Tried to get on a waitlist but failed, so I paid $12k to DavidSW in January of last year.

I did.

Ordered it the day after it was announced with no idea that this ridiculous situation was coming.

Would I pay the current market price? Not a chance.

If anything, I'm pissed off that I'm not going to feel so comfortable wearing it now but I'm not going to risk my AD relationship by cashing in.
