I'm on the fence between the black dial Exp II and the new 41mm sub. My AD hinted that the wait times for the exp II is definitely shorter than the new sub.

Picked up mine on July 1, absolutely love the changes they made. I got lucky, I had only purchased a blue Pelagos from my AD previously so probably should have been at the bottom of the list.

I use to work 3 doors down from them, so would always stop by to say hello and chat watches. I actually only waited 4 weeks after expressing interest.

I really like the changes they made to the polar dial. The rough looking matte hands look really cool. Conversely, I prefer the older version of the black dial because of the floating hands.

I've seen tons of new Explorers, but not many new Explorer II's by comparison. Thanks for sharing great pics gents. Good to see a few getting out there.

This may make the discontinued Polar Explorer 216570 a collectable reference in the future as it also has the 3187 movement which is solely designed for the 216510. The new Explorer II shares the 3285 moment with the new GMT II.
Hi,
having the choice between 216570 and 226570, which one would you recommend ?
Thank you
Cédric
