A few questions for you:
1. Did you purchase the BLNR and Sub at retail from an AD or from a grey dealer?
2. Are these the only two watches in your collection?
3. Why do you want the Daytona? Do you want a chrono complication, are you marking a milestone achievement, are you downsizing collection?

I would not do it because I think the Daytona is an overpriced and over hyped piece. I know, because I have owned them all in every metal. Hard to read and use the chronograph functions. Too small at 38.5 mm for me and just hope you don't need a service as the time and cost will make your eyes water. Even if you go forward with this trade the money is not right and you are giving up too much cash to make it work. Stick with what you have or a BLRO or a Sky-Dweller is a better buy. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

I wouldn’t do this trade.

I have a Daytona and love it…. It’s a great watch and I don’t see myself ever parting with it but I’m still unsure if it’s because I love it that much or because if I do part with it, getting another at retail is close to impossible…. I do think that the watch falls in the over rated, over hyped category.

Don't do it mate. Trade the sub and add the cash. I have the 126500 and it's lovely but it's not worth the trade you are proposing. Not even close.

Thanks everybody for your input, I have decided not to do the trade. Even though I have paid retail for my watches, everyone is right about giving up too much. I am just gonna wait and save up the money.

If its your dream watch go ahead, but I would not. I did a similar trade in the past and regretted it.

For me the Daytona - even though its a grail piece really wasn't for me. It took a while to discover and figure mine out, which ended up being a Pepsi but this just goes to show you it's up to YOU.

It's a hard pass, and the trade is also hard to consider, but if that's the only way to get the Daytona then go for it.

100% if you really want it and your gonna rock it as your daily then do it!!!! if you look at it and it makes you happy every day then 100% do it!!

Just make sure you get a good value for your existing pieces and a fair value for the new piece and then your good to go!

1 main thing I ask of you is to actually GO TRY IT ON!!! and make sure that this is 100% what you want! I have FAILED at this and not gone and tried it on then got the watch and was disappointed!

Your two pieces + modern 321 speedy would be a great collection and offers brand diversity.

The Daytona is my favorite Rolex. Nevertheless, I would not do this trade which I suspect is a grey dealer making a handsome +20% on the combination of trade and cash.

If you can buy the Daytona and list your watches for sale or offer them individually to dealers on this website. Some will probably allow you to keep the watch until they find a buyer and then you ship and they unload (taking their spread)

I guess it boils down to what you want. I can't say it's a bad idea, but...I can say it would be a bad idea for me.

There are so many really great chronos out there in that 6-7k price range these days. Adding one to an already stellar combo you own makes more sense IMO. I think I would take a pause and do some exploring/trying on/thinking before I made that trade. Just my two cents.
