Well duh, it would drive any reasonable person nuts if they were watching TV and someone kept pausing the TV to look at a watch, If you literally do it all of the time when you see a watch then I think it can be considered some form of obsessive compulsive behaviour. Regardless of your interest in watches it doesn't sound like a particularly healthy habit.

Of corse I do this…and unapologetically I might add! But then again l, I am a card carrying member of the WIS Society! The way I look it, there are 2 different types of people on this forum…those whom freeze frame their TV screens to look closely and those whom whom

LOL do it all the time. While watching latest season of Love is blind in Netflix. One of the M contestants wearing a neo vintage either double or single quick DD. Then in a later episode, one of the F contestants fathers is seen wearing a SS Sky-D Blue face oyster.

I found it interesting that Rolex requires the show creators to remove the watch when a character is doing illegal drugs or anything unscrupulous. https://dimepiece.co/stories/Intervi...e-2c3bd0e0f10c |

For a second I thought he was wearing a YM 16622, but it hadn't been released yet back in 1986. It was a Heuer. The YM pt dial came out in 1999. |

I don't watch TV, but when I'm watching something on my computer, whether it's live or not, I do look very closely at what watches are being worn and if necessary, I pause the action to get a better look.

I only pause TV shows and movies when my wife asks me what watch someone is wearing. Then I sigh, locate the remote, hit pause, rewind, squint at the TV, etc, etc.

I do this and I take it one step farther.
I go to 30 - 40 concerts per year and I’m always trying to figure out what they are wearing on stage. I take pics and zoom in on the pics. It’s a challenge, they move to much. John Mayer is easier because he doesn’t move to much while playing. Couldn’t figure out Luke Bryan this year. Looked like a platinum day/date. |
