It’s amazing looking. If they made a true panda version of this I think it would surpass even the rainbow Daytona as the most sought after modern Rolex if it isn’t already.

You are not alone. In general I am not a fan of the 12 series Daytona updates, and the "Le Mans" is okay...I think it looks better in the updated yellow gold, but still no where near a $250k watch or whatever crazy price people are paying since you are not getting one from an AD.

This is truly one FANTASTIC watch.
The only Daytona with a 24 hour counter!!!!
The display case back showing a gold rotor.
In White gold case!!
If you've ever held one in your own hands you would have a different opinion.
This is a chub factor 10 watch.

Yes please!!!!

At msrp it’s a no-brainer, going gray…I’d look at it @ $110-120k. Current gray price is too much IMO.
The watch in general is great aesthetically, but not a whole lot of difference from a distance from other similar themed Daytonas. It’s basically a collector edition piece in my opinion.
I’d daily a black dial/silver sub-dial Daytona before paying gray price and wearing this piece.
Fantastic Daytona no doubt, and it’ll be a collector for sure.

It's undeniably handsome, but that movement really shouldn't be on display. Nothing wrong with being industrially-finished, it's what Rolex does, but I'd rather it have a solid case back.

I agree with you. I’ve seen it irl and frankly I prefer the platinum piece over it.

Life is short buy the watch-

(Friendly humor) Yes Dennis, out of the 8+ billion who live on planet Earth, it's only you. You are unique, just like everyone else.

PS: Only hyped around those you associate with. No one i asked around me on the cruise ship cares, but some say it looks nice.

Did you turn one down? It's a watch most people can never get, so liking it or not is sort of a moot point.

I love it!
I have no chance of getting one at MSRP. or anywhere near but if I could get one at MSRP I would buy it and wear it.

I don't like it either but I'm not a Daytona fan. The only reference I like is the black dial 116500 but not enough to want one.

From a grey market perspective, I would take a 6263 ANY DAY and save $100k.

Yeah, I think you're one of the few who don't love it... It's THE most beautiful Daytona in the modern history produced by Rolex... I wouldn't say it's THE most beautiful Daytona off all times (that crown goes to the Paul Newman Daytona), but it definitely takes the crown of modern Daytonas.

Some of us just aren’t big Daytona fans, in general. I do love Speedies, though.

It’s just a black chrono with white sub dials. My favorite chrono layout for sure but I wish they just made it SS and added it as an option. Then the YG version could have been the special one.

I have this so I’m plenty happy and I don’t find myself lusting for the Daytona what so ever.

I love the WG version, because I think the 4 digit art deco Daytonas are just beautiful. When they were first announced, I asked myself if I would trade my platinum one straight up for it. It was a theoretical exercise as no one was offering, and I didn't realize Rolex was going to make them so rare. I didn't think I would, but it was close. Of course when they were trading for $250k or whatever, it is hard to have that NOT impact your thinking.

TBH, I can't believe Rolex made these in such short supply, as Daytonas were mainly difficult to get, but not objectively "rare." Seemed out of character for Rolex, but whatever.

FWIW, threads like this always make me laugh. Of course there will be people that don't appreciate or absolutely hate Daytonas, and these threads bring them all out. Yup, that's the way of the world. There are few things that everyone loves.

The question is, is there anyone buying at 5x retail. Crazy if anyone is because most probably it's stil in production but off catalogue. Also I saw some on Youtube who got them from ADs who were not that special or that big spenders. Also I saw 3 AD owners wearing at W&W which makes me think no AD will offer the Le Mans to clients before keeping at least one for themselves. more than 1800 ADs in the world so production is more than a 1000 or even 2000 for sure.
