I prefer these thinner sub-dial rings, they allow the dial to breathe a bit more, the old one felt cramped in comparison. Also appreciate the symmetrical lugs.

I’ll take one of each please. J/k.
I do like the the balance of the thinner indices with the thinner subdials. First impression of the edged steel bezel is not my favorite, but would have to judge it in person. Luckily I have plenty of time to decide on this fictional wish list I’m on. Haha |

Exactly,
They brought back the zenith. It’s about time, welcome thinner lugs, farewell bloated rings and markers. Would have been nice if they centered the subdials … and brought back lug holes but can’t have everything.

Can someone comment on the new bezel: the edge of the ceramic is steel?

What are the changes for the other Full RG Daytona? Movement only or the changes will be similar to this white Daytona? Saw few of them listed as New 2023 models.

Some seem to poop on the new one, only in attempt to pump 2ndary prices of the older one.

Everybody talks about Zenith Daytona vibe here. What would have been a home run is having the number 9 of left subdial aligned with the index.
Since they are introducing a new caliber, I was hoping we would get a visual improvement on the subdials alignment. |

Redesigned case Graceful lines of light are elegantly reflected from the sides of its redesigned middle case. On versions with a Cerachrom bezel in ceramic, the bezel is edged with the same metal as the case. |

Looks like the RG/WG/PT/Oysterflex case has been adopted across the entire range.
New movement in all of them (lets hope its more reliable than the 32xx) Clear caseback on the PT Changed dial design/new dials. The big question is - did they make the case bigger? Or are they just shaving the edge of the cerachrome bezel to get it to fit inside the new outer ring and use the existing symmetrical case design. I like it. Although the metal ring surrounding the ceramic bezels is a big mistake. That's a very common impact/wear point and I can see such a thin ring (especially in PM) getting chipped off.

Old and new both great.
Not so sure I like the ring around the bezel I think it spoils the aesthetic slightly Its actually a nod back to how it was originally As are the sub dials as pointed out earlier in this thread I also oddly liked the asymmetrical case The new one looks like a slab and with the appearance of a thinner bezel (due to the ring) proportionally it looks different It now looks like most other chronographs on the market, but a Rolex version The previous Daytona was quite unique with its application of ceramic bezel and case But one thing is for sure, the interest in steel Daytonas will be just as strong going forward And thats a good thing |

Like the new dial and case more, but the old bezel. Now the bezel is more like an insert instead a full ceramic bezel. I prefer the “old” one.
