Jubilee with fluted bezel, Oyster with smooth bezel.
I myself prefer the jubilee and fluted combo.

Jubilee is classic Rolex. And I agree with the guy that said jubilee with fluted (although he actually used the word ‘ribbed’ which makes his watch sound like a contraceptive).

There’s nothing more comfortable than a DJ with a jubilee bracelet.

Datejust Oyster VS Jubilee

Jubilee IMO, love the fluted, but just a little too much flash for me.

I used to think that was a law. However, I am starting to like the look of the oyster and the fluted bezel. The oyster looks more clean and less blingy than the Jub, while the fluted puts a nice little finish on the bezel. Smooth bezel almost looks naked.

Jubilee makes the DJ41 very unique! Pleas scratches don’t look as much of an eye sore

So so funny!!! I thought the exact same thing when I first read his comment

I got my hubby a DJ 36 with the smooth bezel and oyster bracelet. It looks very sporty and oh so sexy imho.

Though there's a lot of different opinions regarding this I don't think you cant go wrong with any combination.

Go with what makes you happy that it's on your wrist

Usually ADs will advise > fluted w/ jubilee and smooth with oyster. I was thinking of ordering my smooth bezel DJ41 w/ jubilee for a change from my others, all with oyster and to hide scratches but I just couldn't do it. I'm too much of an oyster fan and even though I have all on oyster I figured you only wear them one at a time anyway. Although the jubilee is a great and comfy bracelet which I've owned before it just looks dated (no pun) to me. BTW for some weird reason the BLNR looks cool to me w/ a jubilee

Fluted bezel with jubilee is really does not show scratches. A big plus.

Tough choice. I like them both, honestly...but I have this weird thing, see? I like the oyster bracelet for daily use, and the jubilee for business casual and above.

And if everyone followed that rule, we would all have an excuse to buy two DJs!

Jubilee to hide bracelet scratches. Unless you live in a world of pillows and baby kittens.

I am currently choosing my first Rolex (wife birthday present) and that's exactly my thoughts.
