Good catch. The descriptions must be a typo then. Or maybe the deployant clasps weren't ready for the pictures?

Who knows but that black leather strap on the original DS is going to be sweet.

If you follow the DSOTM the prices both new and used are very soft. With the introduction of 5 new models the prices will fall even more. I will get the DSOTM or the GSOTM but at no where near retail. But I believe when I buy it I will own it because a trade or sell will be ugly.

Went in to buy the new Seamaster 300 last week and ended up talking myself into the GSOTM
It fit the bill for a dressy watch with sport character, croc strap, great movement, and lots of cool factor
I don't see these new DSOTM taking away from how I feel about the GSOTM in looks or value. In fact, I think they are in a totally different category.

Yes the dsotm is the original and best looking imho. I actually prefer mine more now and can't wait to get that leather band.

I'm ask going to be watching he price of the regular 9300 co-axial Speedmaster to see if it softens as well. If I can get over how high it sits on the wrist, I'll get one.

I think this is why Omega will never really be able to compete with Rolex. They make a great watches, but they dilute their brand by churning out endless variants and special editions.

Never mind. I was right, they are on ceramic deployants. From OF:

Interesting. It will be interesting to see how they work and how much. I'd love to have the black deployment version for my dsotm.

Hopefully people now feel safer with the deployment options.

They all look awful, as do the Grey side one's.

The two-register dial is completely wrong for the Speedmaster and any version of it looks terrible.

The outside of the clasp, that you can see on the image is ceramic, the actual deploment (that you see when it is opended) is titanium...

Unfortunatly I felt the it got too thick, I would much rather have the ordinary clasp...

Ummm.....you guys act so surprised.Im not, not at all surprised.
That's what Omeeegah does, spin,spin,spin.......create more unimaginative junk, piggybacking on popular movies and actual human achievements.
Whats next? Mars inspired red ceramic?Hmmm probably

Why is the ceramic lineup crazy?
Aren't there 50+ Speedmaster Moonwatches that only differ in dials?
