I have disliked that watch ever since I first saw it in the case. I will never forget my initial reaction. However, that’s just my taste. In fact, the folks that like the Hulk really love it and seem to form a strong and unique connection to it. When that happens, it’s incredible. I think you would be insane to get rid of that watch. Over and over I hear and read stories of people who decided to sell theirs for one reason or another. Almost all seem to regret it and wish they had their original back on their wrist. I would not take a chance on being one of those people. Keep the green guy and enjoy a striking timepiece.

I have owned the watch at least 6 or 7 times over the years and think it is great. When the prices went a little crazy I sold it for a huge profit. Do I miss it? No, just the thought of owning it is nice. Might buy one back if the right opportunity presented itself but till then, I will just admire from afar.

I have or have had most of the popular sports models and the Hulk is my favourite by far as it is unique, great dial that always looks different depending on the lighting and I never see them in public. (unlike the regular Sub that everyone seems to own) I had a 116500 Panda that I never wore and sold,it was very hard to read and wore quite small..I could never understand all the hype behind that watch..I don't miss it at all. It is all personal taste. |

If I have a watch I don't wear with any frequency, off it goes to the watch abyss. I have enough things that collect dust, don't need a watch doing the same.
I would make an exception to this rule for a formal dress watch. |

Surprised by all the feedback but keep it coming :D I like reading everyone's opinion, im still stuck in the middle. On the one hand if it's not in use and prices are falling it could contribute to another piece now, on the other hand I may miss it. Not great at selling them yet!

Great watch as part of a rotation. But if you only have 2-3 watches and don't love it then sell it and get something you'll wear.

Always loved the watch but sold the Hulk after realizing that I was never wearing it. Sold it after having bought the BB58 blue and it becoming my most worn and eventually my only mechanical dive watch. Just fits my wrist better (6.75") imo and is more casual in appearance, which fits my personality better as well.
Entirely subjective of course. |

I sold my Hulk and about 3 other Rolex’s about 7 years ago. Uncle Same came at me hard. I regret selling it ever since.

Logically selling it was the right thing to do but I’ve missed the hell out of it ever since. |

I say keep it. I mean, any direction you go in collecting takes you to a sub, and Hulk is a great example There was a reason you bought it. I am assuming you liked it. We all go through phase where preferences can evolve, but when I strap the Hulk on, it just brings a smile to my face.

The HULK is a fantastic watch. You might consider keeping it until you find something you truly want that makes selling it worthwhile.

Owned one for years and truly enjoyed it.
I only sold it because I found an even greater connection with the current 126610LV. No regrets but still think it’s one of my all time favorites. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Bought new out of the ADs case when no one wanted it.
Didn’t wear it for years and my wife picked it up as hers. But eventually I grew to love it and now I can’t imagine not having it in my collection. It’s now pretty much my go too, everyday watch. |

Bought mine new from AD in 2018. Wore it everyday for work until I got the Pepsi. Although I don’t wear it much these days, I will never sell it. Love the sunburst dial

I did, and now have the 126610LV. Felt the black dial with green bezel was a little more balanced. Plus the MkII green is a lot better

Selling when needed is easy with trusted grey dealers.

If Rolex comes out with the sub date, green bezel and the OP flat green dial to match, I am in.

Can you imagine how difficult a a 126610 rerelease would be to acquire? I love the Hulk but could never spend current market price for a stainless steel diver. I frequently dream of a new version, but then I wake up with the realization that I would never see one even if they did.
