Both are great looking watches. I get annoyed with scratches too, but I decided to enjoy my watch and after few years I will send it for full service which makes it brand new again. Enjoy your new Sub.

Congrats. I would have kept both, but you will fall in love with the Sub. I know I have with mine. It really grows on you.

I will say, though, if you think the Sub is more resistant to scratches than the IIc, you may be in for a bit of a shock. It may hide them a bit better, but if you wear a Rolex you are going to get scratches and scuffs on it. There's just no way around it.
