Totally agree. I've been through pretty much every steel professional Rolex in the last five years. After getting my Explorer it makes me wonder why I bother with any other watches. It's so darn clean, classic and handsome. I marvel all the time about how perfect it is.

Lovely review and couldn't agree more, it's so comfortable and lightweight that you wouldn't even know it's there.

I think you have to cycle through a bunch of hot models to truly appreciate the Explorer. When you are ready for it, you'll NEVER regret it. I never tire of looking at this watch. To me, it's the best watch ever made. I'm partial to the mk2 39mm, but any Explorer is cool.
