Really love these dials, both this version and on the PT. THE best CS in my opinion.

At the top with ALS.

I'm not a fan of FP Journe worn on a bracelet, it removes all it's charm to the watch and dial IMO

I like sushi, I like Resonances. And I definitely like 38mm.

The OG RG is underrated I think. And with the case dimensions and slim bezel I think people don’t realize that it doesn’t wear like a full on gold watch.

I like the LE, especially the way the dial colours came out. But if there was a choice I think I’d still want a dial with some sparkle (even above the LE).

Agree have to love those shimmery dials. This example on loan for a moment has a beautiful warm copper look to it.

The resonance is a fascinating complication w a truly unique space in the world of horolgy. A passive complication much like the tourbillon that one simply appreciate without a required actuation.

Check Chrono24 and minus ~20% for a ballpark.

Go for it, if you can. It's an elegant package, especially these older 38mm watches. The 40mm wears a little fatter and may feel better on some wrists.

But either way the beauty of the concept is the same. My only comment being that one must go for the original dial layout, two analog dials, and symmetrical ones at that. Meaning, forget the just released iteration and the previous "parking meter" iteration.

Hang on, who is loaning out Resonances? And what else can he/she loan out?

Btw, I think RG with the WG dial is one of the best of the earlier brass Resonance. And, if I can trust my buddy TJG then maybe the least produced of all too.

Yes, I would go for one with the original dial layout, for sure. Instead of buying one, though, I think it would be easier for Gus to hook me up with a "loaner" for a while

I’ve had my eye on the CS, but they don’t seem to pop up that often. What’s the resale on these? I would assume I’d have to buy wisely, since I tend to flip every few years.

Yes, buy wisely (preowned) and you'll be OK if selling on in a few years.

Tried this on today at boutique - new version for 2019- visually main diff is thinner bezel. Really a stunning piece .
